Collaboration Rewired: The Virtual Marathon is Back

We’re thrilled to announce that the virtual marathon is back.

For those who participated in previous years, you know the magic of a 25-hour non-stop virtual event where the global Microsoft community comes together to share knowledge, make connections, and celebrate what makes the collaboration space so special.

After a period of dormancy, we’ve spent time rethinking and reimagining what this event should be for 2026 and beyond. The result is Collaboration Rewired — a fresh identity, expanded scope, and renewed commitment to the community-first philosophy that made the original event so beloved.

What’s New

A new name, the same spirit. Collaboration Rewired retains everything that made the original event great: 25 hours of non-stop sessions, grassroots community speakers, and a completely free experience. The new name reflects our expanded focus — beyond just Microsoft 365 topics to encompass the full modern workplace collaboration ecosystem.

Bigger topics. While Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and the M365 suite remain core pillars, we’re expanding to more deeply cover AI and Copilot, Power Platform, developer topics, and workplace culture and leadership.

A modern platform. We’re investing in a better attendee experience, including improved streaming, easier navigation between sessions, and more networking opportunities.

Collaboration Rewired kicks off on December 10, 2026 at 8:00 AM Pacific Time and runs for 25 straight hours until 9:00 AM PT on December 11.

Whether you’re in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, or anywhere else in the world, there will be sessions during your prime time hours.
